Administrators’ Academy #1610: Improving Performance on Early Childhood Indicators 6, 7, & 12: Meeting our Mandates

This Administrators' Academy course informs participants of the key components of the required early childhood indicators for Illinois: Least Restrictive Environments SPP 6, Early Childhood Outcomes SPP 7 and Effective General Supervision Part B / Effective Transition SPP 12. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires that each state report annually via the Annual Performance Report (APR) to the Office of Special Education (OSEP) on its performance according to its State Performance Plan (SPP) targets. This course will support participants in meeting these measurable and rigorous targets for the three early childhood indicators. Participants will review and analyze their actual indicator data to make informed decisions for the student and program growth. Participants will review and summarize research-based practices from the early childhood field to better understand the impact of these indicators on overall student growth.
