Washington Blvd, Chicago IL 60612 Check-In: 8:30am - 9:00am-Workshop: 9:00am - 3:00pm-Contact Hours: 5 About This Workshop Join us for the unique opportunity to explore the Inclusive Classroom Profile (ICP), a research-based assessment tool designed to look closely at the ways inclusive programs accommodate the learning needs of young children with disabilities. This training will explore twelve indicators of high-quality inclusion as described in the Inclusive Classroom Profile. In addition to reviewing the practices, strategies to use the ICP for self-reflection and improvement of high-quality inclusive practices will be shared.

    One Size Does Not Fit All Featuring Stephanie Herling Workshop: 9:00 AM -3:00 PM Location: John A. Logan College, 700 Logan College Road, Carterville, IL 62918 Participants will discover how GOLD objectives can be used to scaffold and individualize learning for all children in the Early Childhood Classroom. Participants will start by demonstrating their knowledge of the objective make up in Teaching Strategies GOLD. We will then move to predict what strategies might work in progressing the children's skill level based on data reporting within GOLD. In completion participants should be able to transfer their data intentionally into the curriculum, scaffolding the skills to meet the wide range of development in the classroom.

    Building Your Inclusion Toolbox: Community of Practice (COP) Policies and Procedures

    Each COP workshop webinar will feature a different chapter of the Building Your Inclusion Toolbox book, consecutively. This COP will focus on Quality, Challenges, Solutions. The COPs will provide opportunities to engage with peers from across the state, and to hear from guest speakers who have effectively put recommended practices into place in programs programs just like yours. For more information, please review our Flyer on our Community of Practice series. Registration Form *Although not all sessions are required, the COP was designed as a complete series.
