Engaging All Students: Making Your Classroom Truly Inclusive For All
April 18 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
It is one thing to include children in your classroom, but it is a totally different thing to make these
students true active members. Join us as we learn how to Engage-Connect-Observe-Play as described in the book Including One, Including All. A trusting, comfortable, and respectful relationship between each student and their teacher is the foundation to build healthy relationships and successful inclusive classrooms. We must take the time to play with each child and learn what he/she is motivated by. Once we are engaged with our student we can begin to connect. During this webinar we will provide examples of how to engage and connect with all students through play. We will also discuss the importance of taking the time to observe in order to guide our interactions.
