Description: In this webinar, we will discuss the roles, responsibilities, and relationships of Paraprofessionals when working with students who have IEPs. What is expected and not expected of Paraprofessionals will be discussed. Supports, strategies, and ideas will also be shared so that Paraprofessionals feel competent and knowledgeable about serving the student(s) they work with.
Note: Approximately three weeks before the webinar, registrants will receive an email to confirm receipt of their registration request and important instructions that should be viewed prior to the day of the session.
This training will provide 1.0 professional development hours (clock hours) for the following:
* Educator License Renewal for ISBE
* CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) 6. Professionalism
* CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
* Gateways to Opportunity credit in area(s) G. Personal and Professional Development
